Junior Java Programmer - Texas Location


IASA's award-winning expertise encompasses areas critical to its customers' mission objectives, including network engineering; information assurance; enterprise systems management; systems engineering and integration; program management, acquisition, and lifecycle support; engineering and logistics; medical transformation/health IT; and distance learning and training solutions. Headquartered in Texas.


Provides design, coding, testing and validating programs that solve engineering related problems. Works closely with other engineers, systems analysts, and system end-users for the development of appropriate system architectures and implementation of system designs. Develops the architecture, detailed system design, coding, integration, testing and configuration management schemes for software systems. Responsible for developing applications software for small to highly complex computer systems or portions of large integrated systems. Responsible to design, code, benchmark test, debug and document computer programs. Applications generally deal with utility programs, job control language, macro, subroutines and other control modules.

Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the following:
- Java / J2EE
- COTS Applications
- MSB
- Grid Computing
Bachelor's Degree in an associated discipline and a minimum of 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

At least six (6) months experience in software development, programming and/or engineering. Must possess experience in requirements analysis, software development and installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis and resolution.
